"Since 1994 I have been deeply commited to The Western Echo and the local business community. Over the years The Western Echo has been the primary marketing vehicle for many of our terrific local businesses, many of whom are still advertising each month, 18 years down the track!
I am enormously pleased to have the opportunity to keep our readers appraised of the events and happenings of our wonderful local organisations, societies, schools, clubs and non-profit groups.

Unlikely as it seems, The Western Echo is essentially a 'one-woman band'. Whether it is photographing local events, writing articles about local happenings, typesetting and designing advertisements, preparing the finished publication for our incredibly fast and ever patient printers - Beaudesert Times - the job is wholly mine and mine alone. So I can honestly say, the buck stops with me!
When technical support is needed (for example when the 'blue screen of death' appears on my monitor) my husband Graeme, and now our daughter Jess, step in to sort out the drama and prevent me from having a major apoplexy or nervous breakdown. For which I am eternally grateful!
